DC Universe Online is a Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game set in the fictional DC Comics Universe. Superstar Comicbook Artist Jim Lee serves as the game's Executive Creative Director and the overall look of the Game is inspired by his aesthetic style. The game has been developed at Sony Online Entertainment's Austin Studio(SOE Austin) with Everquest designer, Chris Cao as the Game Director, Jens Andersen as the Creative Director and Wes Yanagi its Senior Producer. The game has been dubbed an Action MMO by its developers due to its Action-based physics combat system and has been in development since 2006 using the Unreal 3 game engine. DC Universe Online is known as DCUO by its Fans and will be released exclusively for the Playstation 3 and PC on November 2, 2010.
